Pros
- If I have 10k to spend, I think a better option would be to get 75k citi and 75k Venture.
- That sweet sweet venture cash must have dried up finally!
- Parent context: As someone already mentioned, product change your Capital One card to the Savor and then apply for either the Venture or Venture X. Both of these cards have foreign transaction fees, making them perfect for your internati...
- Or you could just product change the cap one to the $95 venture, and move on
- You can start with Savor for groceries and then either Venture or VentureX.
Cons
- I’ve never been a big fan of the $95 AF Venture. Its fine for a year, with a decent sign up bonus, especially if you use the global entry/TSA precheck credit, but long term I don’t think just having a 2x catchall is worth $95/year.
- I think the venture is a useless card when the venture X is effectively free to have, I would consider that vs the CSP instead
- Should I downgrade to the Venture or Venture One?
- CSP looks better than the Capital One's counterpart Venture
- Venture X or Venture
