I use the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 + official keyboard + mouse. For actual workload, I'd rather carry my 2.2 kg gaming laptop, tbh, than my tablet.
My friend and I used an iPad Air and a Tab S9 at school because we were too lazy to carry a laptop a couple of times, and both were as clunky with smaller Excel sheets and smaller Word documents. Okay enough for basic use, but for school work all the time? Hell no.
I used an older borrowed midrange HP laptop for my internship over my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 for Office work, as Adnroid isn't able to run huge Excel data sheets or very big Word documents, functions in Excel are missing, Word doesn't have all the lay-out options lacks shortcuts, PowerPoint lacks things, etc.

And the S9 is a beast! Over 3.5 years of updates left, games run flawless (Genshin player here, one of the heavier games), the OLED screen is just amazing, and the speakers are a huge plus as well. And the S Pen is free. It comes with the tablet

Is a second hand or refurbished S9 an option? It also has a better screen.
