if you want something like your 7d the r7 pretty much goes band for band for that. still apsc, with weather sealing and dual card slots, but you also get 32.5 mp, 4k video/hd at 120fps, IBIS, miles better autofocus and you drop 300g of weight off. i think its pretty much the best replacement you can get

I went from 7dii to R7. Best decision ever imo. Auto eye af makes a huge difference for wildlife, birds in flight etc. I get a lot more keepers nowadays
