The 5080 and 5090 are so far beyond the performance of anything that used to be available to consumers.
The 5080 is also pretty bad imo the 5070ti is the only decently powerful GPU that is worth it at the moment.
Flatout, what power plugs do I need to buy for my 5080? It seems to be turning off and on during use, I'm assuming it's the one with 2 plugs?

I’ve got a 5800x3d and a 5080… I’m certainly not having a bad experience.
still, that didn't stop me from (just recently) configuring, buying & building a 3k PC (4k rig with 4k screens, running on rtx5080).
I wouldn’t spend the extra $800 on a 5080. In most games the difference over the 9070 XT is pretty small, and you’re paying a lot more for it.
