Parent context: US Bank Cash+ is really good card, but it requires selecting category every quarter is which is painful. [Elan max cash preferred] is exactly same as this but doesn't require category switch. Reply: I log in on a regular basis at least a month to download statements and redeem cash back - so this is not a big deal ( for me ) to click something when / if needed - of course Elan ( a division or a sister company of US Bank ... ain't they both owned by US Bancorp ) seeds their cards around everywhere, so it is a good route too
