Costco Anywhere Visa Card

Pros
- Not the most popular combo here, but Costco Visa and Amex Blue Cash Preferred check almost all of the boxes you mentioned. It's not exciting, but as someone also in a not exciting time of life, the cash back is pretty great.
- The Costco card would be the right move here. You'll only get 1% back from about $200/month in non-Costco grocery spend but restaurants will get 3% back and Costco will get 2% back. It will even out to roughly the same but the Costco car...
- Even the Costco Visa would be a good card if you book the discounted bundles through their travel portal.
- Combine that with an executive membership and you get 5% on Costco Travel, which does offer some insanely good deals on it's face.
- For the vast majority of people, especially lifelong Costco members, who don’t care about points and cash back as a hobby and just want a simple “one card to do it all” it’s an amazing card.
Cons
- Costco Visa is Citibank-backed.
- For a while it was good for 4% back on gas and 3% back at restaurants, but there are better cards now.
- It’s a meh card, and people who know a thing or two about credit cards are unlikely to use it as a daily driver.
- One hurdle though is the cashback being redeemable at the end of the year as a certificate.
- It’s only 2% at costco which is the same as a catchall 2%. with also no sign up bonus

One hurdle though is the cashback being redeemable at the end of the year as a certificate.
