Nobody mentioned the Churchill war rooms. I know it’s considered by some as a first-visit attraction, but I suspect many tourists miss it on their first visit.

Churchill War Rooms is super!!

Churchill War Rooms is maybe the best WW2 historic site/museum I’ve been to and I’ve been to every WW2 site and museum there is including UK, Europe, North Africa, the Pacific Islands and Japan. There is nothing like it. You feel like you were there, great experience. Just loaded with info and exhibits.

They’re both excellent

Churchill War Rooms are the real war rooms. And many items are preserved in situ. It’s also much bigger than you expect. I thought it was amazing.

Churchill War Rooms or the Imperial War Museum

The Churchill War Rooms is really fascinating, I’d be surprised if you spent less than a couple of hours there.
