Reply: They essentially immediately contradicted themselves by saying "During the month of December"... Was this misleading? yes. Did they cover their butt? Probably yes. But those are two separate things.

Just noticed that for Q4 2025, the Freedom 5% PayPal category is **only valid in December**, even though it’s advertised alongside the full-quarter categories. I have two Chase Freedom cards and already put more than $1,500 of spend on each this quarter. I’m furious! it's incredibly misleading to call PayPal a “Q4 bonus category” when it’s just a one-month only thing.
Since you don’t have strong exposure with the big banks start at the lower cards from Citi and Chase. Like the Custom Cash and Freedom cards.
