Buckingham Palace

Pros
- there are so many other things to do besides musicals like Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and just walking around different neighborhoods.
- Tour of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace at a prebooked time, followed by the palace gardens.
- I believe Buckingham palace opens for august. Ticket ahead
- Rain, wind, hail, thunder & then sunshine by Buckingham palace. Have fun!
- Sprint to try to see Changing of the Guard at 11 AM at Buckingham Palace
Cons
- Buckingham Palace isn’t open all year round for tours, and TBH I wouldn’t do one anyway. Not a particularly old building, nor is it attractive. Pretty boring, and everything inside is overdone / over-gilded.
- There's not really much to see at Buckingham Palace TBH. It's a big ugly building with some railings out front. ... Not something worth a tour IMO.
- I did tour both Windsor and Buckingham; Windsor was completely worth it, Buckingham much less so.
- Buckingham Palace is not really near public transit from what I remember. It’s also super boring but tourists seem to like looking at what must be Englands most uninteresting stately home!!
- And lastly, the unattractive, new (compared to the others), Buckingham Palace.

The gardens at the back are nice and whilst it’s like every other stately home it has a decent picture gallery full Of canelleto, there’s a half decent cafe and ice cream parlour. Ok for a few hours. Not wow though
Go somewhere else more interesting. I have been to London more than 10 times and I never have been to Buckingham. ... It's just offices.
I went once. It was awful. Ugly rooms full of expensive, unlabelled tat that were gifts from random world leaders over the last 200 years. 3/10
In the greater scheme of things, Buckingham Palace is not that old and architecturally just not attractive.
