Zoologist Squid

Pros

• Squid always felt gothic to me. Unique, slightly inky smell, dark juice. If not goth, vampiric.
• Squid - peppery, ocean and if you have ever smelled squid ink in person definitely gives this vibe. Somewhat ambery.
• Squid was my first test of this brand ever and it immediately touched me because for me it is not about the sea at all. ... this one is 9/10 for me
• My fav was Squid.
• Love Squid!! I’ve amassed a collection of 12 full bottles, and Squid is among them 💙

Cons

• I am so sad I couldn't get my hands on Squid's older bottle. I tried looking for empty ones on eBay but with no success (or nothing that wasn't over $300 for some reason).
• For me, this scent is strikingly similar to Zoologist Squid, a fragrance that I’m still, to this very day, disappointed that I don’t enjoy. I think it’s a combination of the incense and salty notes that create an unpleasant sharpness to...
• Compared to Squid or Seahorse, this one heavily recalls the sun pounding down on the sea’s surface + danger.
• SQUID – I Love the smell of ink and was anticipating this so much. Squid was a bit of a let down, but I have a feeling I just don’t appreciate “blue perfume” like some people do. 7.1
• It’s an interesting fragrance, but not at all wearable for me. I love the ocean and had high hopes for it, but it makes me gag. 🙁
