Pros

• Bluntly, based on your skill level, buy an eero. How many eeros you need depends on the layout of your house.
• Since you sound non-technical, I would recommend a simple system like an eero.
• If your ISP provides eero, your easiest way without running wires is to purchase an eero to add on
• Eero tends to perform best on ease of use
• Pick based on price - there are a ton of other options but eero is set it and forget it and just works

Cons

• 6 is rated to 500 6+ is rated to 1Gbps Pro 6E is rated for 2.3
• 6+ is rated to 1Gbps
• I recently upgraded from Eero to TPLink Deco.
• Products like eero and Google are for ease of use only and don't top the performance charts or give you much flexibility for advanced configuration.
• Cox 1GB plan, going to an Arris S33 then Eero 6+ as the base router with 2 additional 6+ devices in the house.
