Yum Asia

Pros

• Get a zoji, cuckoo, yum Asia or something instead
• After doing research, I went for Yum Asia and love it.
• Parent context: Hi, Unfortunately we do not currently officially sell Yum Asia products in Canada Reply: :( you guys have great rice cookers, you should. And thanks for that replacement! I have to give kudos for doing good on the warranty!
• Yum Asia is a good alternative that you should maybe check out. I’m very happy with our Bamboo and we make plenty of rice weekly.
• Yum Asia uses ceramic-lined bowls, so no non-stick layer to worry about.

Cons

• Because it's superficially similar to Zojirushi at a much smaller cost. In other words, a cost-effective alternative or a cheap knockoff, depending on how your see it
• Yum Asia is a British rebrander who just orders appliances and rice cookers from whatever PRC manufactures and slaps their name on it.
• I’ve run across far too many of these posts now from reasonable people saying their products just don't last and that their response has been denial, not in good faith or straight up rude.
• Yum asia came at me on here when I sided with a customer of their's. The company boasted how much they knew about rice, equipment, etc. After that exchange, they can KMA.
• I have discovered they produce a lot of manufacturing defects, and practice zero accountability or willingness to work with their customers. Their posts - when they make them - are also snarky as hell.
