You definitely won’t be disappointed, I’ve had 2 so far, a micom and currently an IH and both make perfect rice. I rehomed the micom and am told after over 12 years of use, it still gets used daily. My IH model makes perfect rice and porridge ever. Single. Time.
Zoji makes rice perfectly every dang time. IMO rice is not the same in the IP, might be ok in a Zoji, but not necessary at all.
Even in my Zoji, every so often, randomely, oatmeal will spill out during cooking. It sucks, but it's not the machine's fault, it's just how oats-do.
I’ve got a Fuji, Sakura and a Tsuki at home. Had Zojirushis in Japan. Find your sweet spot in terms of water would be my advice
