TP-Link Deco

Pros

• If you do want to, Deco and Eero are probably the best options.
• Deco or Eero. Wifi6 ones are fine so you don't spend $600+.
• If you want to stick with mesg, go to Deco or Eero.
• Have Deco at my parents house, older units. Works great for them.
• Eero and Deco are the popular options for mesh systems and it's usually the easiest method for a good home network and coverage.

Cons

• But I do not recommend deco. Go with a unifi cloud gateway in the ‘internet box’ and some access points.
• DECO - all your traffic is subject to the Chinese snooping as you are using their app to manage your network. The Biden Admin. Investigated and should have banned it.
• the above PtP over to an existing TP-Link Deco mesh system.
• Is a "mesh" system like the Tp-Link deco or Asus zenwifi system a decent solution?
• I currently have TP-Link Decos and they require an app and cloud connections.
