Yeah, so looks like the summer 2020 BIOS supports the 3600, while there was na update in December 2020/Jan 2021 to support the 5700G So if you've never updated it at all then thats probably why

Now, I have to use my brothers PC because my motherboard stopped working propperly, which has a r5 3600 and still uses the stock cooler but the build is 5yo and I don't know in which state the thermal paste is, because apart from the age it hasn't got much use.
