It was ok for us, but our son got tired of it as soon as he didn’t need the baby kit anymore and preferred to use our normal chairs. The whole “it grows with your kid” thing only works if your kid likes being the only one with a weird chair until they’re 9 years old.

We have two! One for each kid. The longevity is the major selling point for me. I love them and will use them until my kids are too big! My four year old loves that he has his own chair that allows him to be at the perfect height at the table.
I love it and we’ve used it for now six years. I may be biased because I live in a country where literally every parent I know owns this chair. But I def can’t de influence you on that one.
Personally, I love it. We bought our chairs new and got the attachments secondhand from parent groups. We even got a second one for baby number 2. It’s one of only a few baby items we are repurchasing. I like how stable they are, and even living in a tropical climate, we haven’t had issues maintaining the wood.
I am usually in the minority about this high chair but we absolutely hated it. The straps were a nightmare, you couldn’t use the food tray after they grow out of the newborn seat, we tripped over the legs constantly since there’s no way to fold it up/hide it easily.
If you don't wipe food off the chair legs immediately it dries to a concrete consistency. I'm on the floor scrubbing at it furiously.
I know a friend who is still using the Tripp Trapp for her 7 year old! They last really well and are just well made.
