Pros

  • I'd buy Simagic out of these, I prefer the design of their wheels.
  • Simagic Alpha mini, several different wheel setups from drifting to forumla
  • I went Alpha Mini, GT Neo, VRS DFP 2 pedal, Rigmetal basic, integrated 1440p Dell 27s, and a Facebook marketplace seat for under $3K.
  • The Simmagic is definitely better than the Moza, bit it’s not as big a jump.
  • I’ve currently got a Simagic alpha mini and GT4 wheel which I use on PC

Cons

  • In simagic alpha mini + gt neo i could not configure ffb to feel well in LMU. Tried for several hours and gave up.
  • But there is also the Alpha mini with 10 nm for 460. Ive found on Ebay the Alpha mini for 325€.
  • Im Currently going from my Alpha Mini to the Ultimate because im maxing Out the nm on it and tend to Overheat it.
  • I’ve also heard that simagic alpha mini gets abit hot after long races
  • alpha mini $375 (evo with 9nm is about $450)

I’ve currently got a Simagic alpha mini and GT4 wheel which I use on PC... The DD+ is probably better than the mini, but is it worth the faff of switching?

Upgraded to a Mini and it was night and day different, had nearly as solid of endstops as the CSW2.5 with much more detail and no more losing track of the wheel from going past the stops. Everything about it is better it's a solid hunk of metal with no plastic on it, FF is better, best-in-class QR (Moza smartly followed suit here), no stupid proprietary eco system driving up costs and locking you into poor choices, best in class form factor..
