Pros

  • When I bought the Alpha (15Nm), I thought it's way too powerful, and I would have been ok with a Mini. In hindsight, if i went for the mini, today i'd want something slightly stronger.
  • I went from moza r5 bundle to simagic alpha with GT neo and p1000i and it was the best choice I have done for this hobby other than getting a very good rig.
  • have a Simagic Alpha (15nm) and looking at building a second formula rig and debating between the new VNM, VRS and SC3 for it.
  • Personally i'd recommend going for a nornal Alpha base over the ultimate or the alpha evo. You can use the budget you save on that to maybe pimp out the p1000's to hydraulic or inverted
  • I had the Fanatec GT DD Extreme bundle(with the CS GT DD+ wheelbase) and it didn't feel as good as the Simagic Alpha or the Alpha Evo Pro. Not even close. ... I don't find either the Alpha or the Alpha Evo Pro to feel robotic.

Cons

  • I bought Simagic alpha, but returned since it was noisy and could not configure the ffb to feel good.
  • My Alpha is only 15 and breaks my wrist already.
  • I've got a Simagic Alpha and Simsonn Pro pedals mounted to it.
  • Simagic alpha

Parent context: I got a Simagic Alpha (15nm) with a 33% for 440 euros do that was a no brainer for me. Reply: 440 for an alpha is crazy value for money, but unless you have the luck to stumble across such discounts, I don't think the alpha series is worth it anymore.
