Pros

  • The Samsung Q600F is amazing @ $499. 5.1.2. Left, center and right speakers. 2 upfiring speakers and a freestanding sub woofer. Dolby Atmos. The sound blows me away.
  • I got a Samsung Q600F refurb on ebay for $300 and I like it much better than my last one. I'm not an audiophile, but this one is much better for dialogue and loud action in movies. I used to have to man the remote to go up and down in so...
  • I believe you would benefit from combining rear speakers with that Samsung Q600 bar which would be well worth the extra $100 or so. This Q600F w/rear 9500S rear speakers is steeply discounted right now on Amazon for $477.98. ... So you'r...
  • if you want clarity prefer more theatre like sound, then you can go with Samsung q600f which has real atmos up firing speakers and rear satellite speakers for future upgrade.
  • A Samsung Q600F is often on sale for $300. 3.1.2 system with a soundbar and subwoofer.

Cons

  • Just picked up a Samsung Q600F soundbar and it’s a little bit too tall ( like .25 inches) to fit between the mantle and the tv.
  • I recently bought a Q600F, not really impressed but I have 60 days to return it to best buy if I don't like it.
  • No No No, especially not a 600F! If you want a new tv, that’s one thing, but just for Q Symphony to use with a 600F? Heck No. Buy a better soundbar instead of hoping a tv can make your mid range soundbar better.
  • I’m currently using a Samsung Q600F soundbar, and I’m finding the music listening experience quite underwhelming. The mids and highs feel muddy and recessed, often completely drowned out by the bass.
  • Is the Symphony feature on Samsung TVs worth switching from a TCL TV to a Samsung TV just to sync it with my Samsung Q600F soundbar?

I got a Samsung Q600F refurb on ebay for $300 and I like it much better than my last one. I'm not an audiophile, but this one is much better for dialogue and loud action in movies. I used to have to man the remote to go up and down in some movies and this one I don't. I think the dedicated center channel helps a lot.

This Q600F w/rear 9500S rear speakers is steeply discounted right now on Amazon for $477.98. ... So you're basically getting enhanced sound with the front atmos speakers in the bar, included subwoofer, and rear surround sound speakers for a great price.

The 600f is nice but it doesn’t have WiFi so you can’t use SmartThings and the surrounds do not have up firing drivers. Wish I researched a bit more. It is a quality unit tho but you won’t get .4 atmos experience
