But I switched to a pellet smoker a little over a year ago and that is definitely the way to go IMO. If I knew then what I know now Id have gotten a pellet years ago and skipped the electric. Its so much more versatile and while neither are hard to use, the pellet smoker is definitely easier and less fussy.
