Palit RTX 4080 GameRock Midnight Kaleidoscope

Pros

• 5-year Zotac warranty helps a lot here
• I just jumped from 1089 to 4080 with an oled screen. I often stop in games and just admire how insane it looks.
• Get a second hand rtx 4080(70-75k, preferably under brand warranty) and build an AM5 system with 32 gigs of ram. Should be doable in your budget.
• If that 4080 is fine it's the best option by a long shot I have a 5070 ti and would've easily have sacrificed mfg for 200 bucks....especially for 1440p
• I am in the same situation as you are. 5600x with rtx 4080

Cons

• Parent context: The next major upgrade would probably have to either be a 4080,4090 or a 5080(not THAT major unless you want some nvidia features*) all of which are very expensive - not worth it imo Reply: the 4080 definitely not.
• I’ve got the 4080 as well and honestly cant really get the 4K beyond a certain level 70-80fps unless i turn down other items (then 110-130).
• I've gone from a Aw2725df to MSI MPG 322UR and I've yet to be wowed. The performance hit doesn't seem worth the slightky extra sharpness to me. I'm running a 4080.
