NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Pros

• Nah 3070 is fine for 1080p
• Your budget *should* be enough to buy a 5600 (about $150 used) and, say, a RTX 3070 or RX 6700XT (both currently go for about $250), and that combination would be more than capable of running ETS2 maxed out
• I have a 3070 and it plays everything I've thrown at it maxed out at 1080/60 no problem
• 1660 super to 3070 was also significant.
• You can cross-reference similar but current gen gpu, like a ~$300 5060 in this case, to see if the $200 3070 is worth it (it is).

Cons

• its a 2 generations old card so any being sold have probably been used for thousands of hours already
• The 3060 beats the 3070 in Battlefield 1080p max settings because of its VRAM.
• ...but eventually the 8gb of vram caught up to me and my ultra wide resolution.
• That said, 650W for an i9 and a 3070 is pretty tight indeed. Undervolting that i9 a bit is probably the easiest way to save some power.
• I thought I could get away with my 3070 a bit longer, didn't really consider it a "low end" gpu but with each new game I have to lower my graphics more and more, at ultralow now for games like Squad and the new Assassins Creed.
