Pros

  • I have the same CPU/Cooler. Additionally to PBO negative curve add an adaptive negative offset of 0.07v and put a power limit on it. I never go over 74°.
  • Noctua NH-D15 CHROMAX BLACK..
  • Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
  • The proposed build |AMD Ryzen 9 9950X|$621.80|₹57,000| |**Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black**|**$98.18**|**₹9,000**|

Cons

  • as far as i know theres plenty of black coolers that perform just as well as the noctua d15 for a lot cheaper but otherwise it looks fine
  • 95C under load is too high for that CPU with that cooler. That tells me that the CPU is thermal throttling. It should be at least 10-20 degrees cooler.
  • I like it, only question is why Noctua? I know they are good quality and quiet but the price is always insane . Maybe look at an ID Cooling A720 instead cool, quiet, and sleek black look plus the savings at half the price is pretty nice.
  • I have pc spares them as follows: • 5070 tuf • 12700K • Z790 AORUS ELITE AX DDR4 • CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB RS 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3600MHz • 1 nvme Samsung 990 1 TB • 1 sdd Samsung 250 GB • 1 HD 7200 1 TB • Noctua NH-D15 chromax black • 6...
