MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk

Pros

• Now looking at MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk, said to be more stable with crazy ram like mine
• The tomahawk is a better board, but the PCIE 5.0 on the Asus board is nice to have. I would probably say tomahawk. Can't really go wrong either way.
• just go ahead with the msi board, you will just worry about it until you swap it anyways. too many horrors stories, I swapped from asrock to gigabyte on my 9800x3d a couple weeks ago for free through microcenter.
• mobo: MSI B650 Tomahawk ~178€
• For your 9900X and that RAM kit, something like the MSI B650 Tomahawk or the Asus B650-Plus WiFi would handle everything fine without paying the X870 premium. ... The Tomahawk has a good reputation for memory compatibility in particular..

Cons

• I have the FiiO FT1 currently and mainly use it on my PC (MSI B650 Tomahawk that has the ALC4080) but I have the feeling that something is missing.
• my brand new motherboard (MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk) is acting weirdly: 1. First time I launched my pc, I got into bios which is good, but then after booting DRAM debug light started glowing for like 30-45 minutes, while the fans were going...

• So I recently bought and built a brand new pc. MSI MAG B650 tomahawk, ryzen 7 7800x3d, asus 5070ti, MSI 750W PSU. I just finished it and booted it up for the first time and it worked, it loaded the login screen for windows then went black.
• I used to have an MSI B650 Tomahawk, and it had a Smart Fan setting. When I enabled that, the fans would only get louder while I was gaming.
