Pros

• I churned a Marriott Boundless and a Marriott Bountiful and those were actually my favorite to churn. It was enough points for a weekend at a Residence Inn (for skiing at a small mountain in Eastern Washington State) and 5-nights at a Sp...
• Marriotts are everywhere... While the points aren’t worth much you get 2x... I’d imagine the 35k cert is usable, but if not the card is only $95... Since the card is Visa and no foreign fees, it works almost always
• That said, if you want to get started in points I’d suggest trying the Marriott Boundless. It comes with 3 one-night coupons that are super easy to redeem for many of their lower priced hotels (Fairfield, SpringHill, etc)
• Getting Marriott Boundless for a potential upgrade is a solid play.
• I think the $95 Mondern Art Marriott Amex earns one elite night per $5k spend like the Boundless Visa

Cons

• Boundless doesn't have best welcome bonus right now, but I think you need to prioritize starting timer.
• Marriott Boundless could top up Marriott points, but these points are worth less than United points in my opinion
• For hotels, I typically go to Marriotts and I do have the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless.
• The Marriott Boundless offer is meh. Not the worst, but far below that card’s all time high SUB.
