a repair shop busted it up and she decided to just buy new, so she spent over $3K USD building out an M4 MacBook Pro, chocked it full of 24GB RAM, upgraded to the 14 core CPU/20 Core GPU, and even put 4 TB of build-in storage into it. ... She could have literally saved $2,000 to do anything she wanted with, bought a $1,000 M2 Air instead, and had the exact same experience she’s having now.

Non of which is worth it. I do have both and I really can’t tell the difference in screen unless it’s the same high quality picture side by side and it’s still not worth it.
