- I just got a Liforme mat during their Black Friday sale & a better mat makes a big difference in my practice.
- I have a Liforme mat and even sweating a ton I never slip!!
- This did the trick until I splurged on a Liforme mat. It has unbelievable grip, probably a little too much (have skinned my knees trying to slide into a few poses), but my practice improved so much once the fear of slipping was gone.
- I have a Liforme mat and they recommend a tiny drop of soap in a lot of water, and only cleaning every 10 uses.
Cons
- As title suggests, mainly a runner that does yoga and stretching and wanting a mat with a bit more padding/thickness to it.
- I see that Liforme acknowledges that their mats have latex in the bottom layer but not the top and was wondering if anybody has ever had any problems with this mat with the allergy.
- I have exact the same one :) after about two years of daily use it‘s starting to lose grip, but if I were to replace it, I‘d buy exactly the same again… the mother earth design is so gorgeous too!

I second a Liforme mat. I'm not tall, but started yoga at about 260lbs and am currently just over 200lbs. I would recommend getting an XL size mat, and maybe a knee pad. The pad will help you not to bruise your joints where you might need a bit more support as a person in a larger body, but the mats themselves are grippy and have alignment guides to help with placement.

I just got my first Liforme mat. I practice Yin and hot yoga.

The Liforme mat is the best mat I’ve ever had! Never need a towel and it’s so grippy. The alignment markers are also very helpful to my practice
I've had my Liform mat for a couple of years and it's still completely fine. I just clean it with a wet & soapy sponge.
