I often use spreadsheets and text documents. I currently have a MSI G272QPF E2 and it's good but I like to upgrade that monitor for something a bit better mainly because I am missing the colour and pop factor and HDR in my old tv (LG CX) which I drove for a better part of 4 years.
Gave away my LG CX and moving across the US in a few months so didn't want to buy a new TV and risk breaking it
That said, I have an LG CX, PS5, XSX, and a DP-UB820 and the DP-UB820 isn't even connected (I don't have space for it yet in my setup).
I now have 3 OLED displays, a 9yr old 65" LG C6V, 5yr old 48" 120hz LG CX, and a 1 month old Alienware 34" 240hz UW. I've used them all for gaming in our well lit lounge without any issues whatsoever.
My TV, an LG CX panel, has grey banding. It is absolutely unnoticeable without setting a flat grey colour (you can find colourtests on YouTube) then spending a good amount of time staring at it until your eyes adjust and finally you can notice a tiny bit of darker bands.
Parent context: Nice setup and very similar to mine in regards to the fireplace on the left in the corner and the opening to the other room on the right TV in the middle and seating distance about 14ft away I also considered getting an 83in but went for the 77 c5 because I couldn't justify the extra $1200 for 6in bigger. Reply: Right! I agree. Problem is, I love this OLED screen.

77” LG CX
I've had my CX since April 2020 and my C1 since late 2022 and neither have burn in with thousands of hours
For console gaming if you can find an LG CX then you can use the BFI at 60 hz. It’s the only tv on the market that has great motion clarity. It looks like 360hz to my eyes since I compared it to a 480hz oled and also used ufo test from blurbusters.
