Pros
- For me I prefer IDM. I tested T2 petrol and didnt like it at all until i tested the IDM. I booked one as well.
- All the gripes you mentioned are true, but we have it and like it as a family of 3. I’m not a car nut, but the car goes when you want it to and easy to maneuver. We charge it at home overnight every 2-3 days and hardly have to fuel up wi...
- I tested drive the car and everything about was amazing and booked one and will arrive end of September
Cons
- Booked T2 idm on 28/7 too. I was told 60 days from the date of booking which is really long as i have sold my car and this car is gonna be my primary only car.
- I have booked my T2 idm on 19/7 They wrote on the pre booking form that its 40 days + clearance for delivery I contacted them last week they said VIN not assigned and it we will check and update you Till today no updates or any communica...
- I have it for 5 months now, 11,000 kms and so far the original tires are crap for quick turn and hard braking, and the in-board battery (not the main driving one but the alarm, lights and electronics battery) failed twice.
- I do own a T2 I-DM, all i can say is that it is way better than the petrol one but if you are looking for some Hybrid SUV of this type, the T2 is not worth it at all quality wise
- In its price bracket it's a massively underwhelming and overrated car

We bought a brand new 2026 T2 I-DM for 2-3 months now and it’s having issues, mainly: small inboard battery (for alarm, electronics, etc… not the driving battery) that failed twice, i think they kept the same Giti tires as the petrol version, so it’s keep loosing grip coming or getting out of a T intersection or a normal street road and also during firm braking, the front wheel keeps locking like if the car has a very weak ABS system.
Thinking of getting a T2 i-DM, but I’ve come across a few stories about repairs taking months at Elite Cars / Jetour service centers.
