Pros
- I have the Henson mild and have used it here and there over the last 4 months. I think it's a fine beginner razor and don't have a problem recommending it for people starting off in the DE world.
- Honestly, I'd recommend a Henson mild. Because of it's design, the head really goes where it's supposed to without any guesswork, and helps eliminate nicks and cuts. For me, it's mild enough where I can make multiple strokes and clean up...
- I don't think the razor is the problem at all. I can't really imagine having problems with the Henson mild with feather blades.
- Henson Mild would be a good option for you.
- Yes. 2-3 days is no problem for it, and it’s a very mild razor.
Cons
- I have very coarse hair and the Henson mild doesnt do it. I would have to keep going over the same spot leading to irritation.
- Henson Mild
- Btw, I bought a Henson mild and the Henson medium. The aluminum feels cheap to me, and I think the fixed blade angle is a gimmick.
- To be honest, I managed to get razor burn on my neck even with the Henson Mild, which has an exposure of 0.018 mm, perhaps because of the forced angle, which does not leave much room for maneuver
- Mild is too mild. I had a 5 o'clock shadow a few hours later.

Honestly, I'd recommend a Henson mild. Because of it's design, the head really goes where it's supposed to without any guesswork, and helps eliminate nicks and cuts. For me, it's mild enough where I can make multiple strokes and clean up passes against the grain on my neck to get the closeness I want without much irritation

Love my Henson mild. I like it with Bic Chrome Platinum and Wilkinson Sword blades.
I shave every other day with the Henson mild (from amazon) + feather blade, B&M soap. It works great. No more ingrowns.
I've been using the Henson mild for a while now and it gives good shaves (it will take some practice to get used to it).

Nice shave. Yep I get great results every time with my Henson mild/two passes too. No problems, irritation or concerns regardless of what blade I have used with it.
