Nacet

Several Gillette recommendations for you: PermaSharp, Minora, Nacet, Silver Blue. All four of these are incredibly smooth shaving in my R89, and yield a very smooth result as well.

Go with the BIC Chrome Platinum, but also look for several different Gillette brands: PermaSharp, Nacet, Silver Blue, and 7 O’Clock yellow. All are top quality blades.

For blades look for several made by Gillette: PermaSharp, Silver Blue, Nacet, or 7 O’Clock yellow.

Get some quality blades: Gillette Nacet, PermaSharp, 7 O’Clock yellow, BIC Chrome Platinum, or Astra green.

For blades try Astra Green, Nacet, or Gillette 7O’Clock yellow. Any of those should work to get you started.

If I go every other day, I’ll get three shaves from a good blade (Nacet, Minora, PermaSharp).

Gillette Minora, Nacet, PermaSharp, and 7 O’Clock yellow are excellent for me.

With a good blade, like a BIC Chrome Platinum, or a Gillette Minora, Nacet, or PermaSharp, 8 would call tossing the blade after one use “wasteful.”

Nacet and Wilkinson Swords have been awesome for me.

The Ti Blackbird with a Gillette Nacet, my preferred blade, gives me a perfectly smooth and effortless BBS. No tightness on the skin level, razor burn, weepers, or anything else. It’s definitely one of the smoothest razor ever for going ATG if we take into account the huge blade exposure, which I actually like a lot. I would say GSB has the same sharpness as the Nacet in my books at 4.5/5, but smoothness is much worse at 3.5 compared to the easy 5 I get with Nacet.
