I also recently grabbed a gigabyte b550 board for a living room PC build and I've got no complaints, it was under $100
Decent first build list for $616 total with shipping and tax? I have a ps5 so this’ll mainly be for games not available on that and I’ll be fine with 1080p medium settings. Also basic computer stuff. Ik gpu is questionable but I got it for 80 bucks and I think it’s fine for me and if anything I could upgrade in a year or 2.
Changed the GPU to the much superior (and better priced) 9060XT 16GB. To keep the price the same I got a cheaper 1TB storage and a cheaper motherboard, which should both not be a noticeable difference, at least relative to the jump from the 5060 to the 9060XT
I'd get a 9060XT, 1TB ssd, cpu cooler, power supply and a Ryzen 5800XT, with a compatible motherboard.

You're on a budget, so I got the price down as low as I could go, but you forgot ram. Buy windows later, it works fine.
This is what I would build in that price range for AMD: Type|Item|Price :----|:----|:---- **Motherboard** | [Gigabyte B550 EAGLE WIFI6 ATX AM4 Motherboard](https://at.pcpartpicker.com/product/fzNscf/gigabyte-b550-eagle-wifi6-atx-am4-motherboard-b550-eagle-wifi6) | €105.90 @ Alza
I'd recommend AM4, R7 5800XT would make the most sense, but it's not much better than the 10700k, if getting a new motherboard was a reasonably option I'd recommend it.
