• I'm working my way through Genki 1 and after learning おきる I added it to Bunpro
• Buy textbooks like Genki 1 (N5), Genki 2 (N4), Quartet 1 (N3) and Quartet 2 (N2).
• I just helped my friends 13 year old daughter through genki 1, 2, and quartet in a year and she confidently took the n3 recently.

• i’d recommend watching the tokini andy genki series on youtube it covers everything in the genki 1 book i believe and is a free alternative if you can’t avoid the book
