• The Fenix 7 or Epix Gen 2 would be solid upgrades from your 165 - way more features for training and the swim metrics are legit once you find that pool. Both should have decent Black Friday deals and the battery life alone makes it worth...
• I have an epix gen 2 from 22 as well and I hope it never dies. This watch is the GOAT
• coming from an Epix Gen 2 (the 2022 model, nog even the pro) - the 47mm Fenix 8 isn't a single bit snappier, better or anything.

Cons

• I had a Epix Gen 2, then an Epix Pro, and always struggled to read it under the sun when hiking / walking in summer.
