Pros

  • I use a Bose TV Speaker via analog from a Dell 27" monitor. I love the dialog button on the remote... old ears here.
  • I've been using the Bose TV Speaker for years... Hit the 'Dialog' button and I can even understand Aussies!
  • I ran out to Best Buy and grabbed the Bose TV Speaker for $200 and hooked it up last night. The difference is night and day. All sound is crystal clear and the bass is surprisingly good even without its own subwoofer. But from my casual...
  • I’m visiting a friend right now and he has the Bose TV speaker. It sounds really good, clear, with powerful bass. In a medium-sized living room, it’s great value for money.and it sounds way better than the Sony soundbar+sub he had before...
  • I have this bar and it is a great basic bar. Good sound quality not a lot of bells and whistles but a good basic soundbar with good sound quality.

Cons

  • I've recently tried a Yamaha SR-B30A, JBL 2.0MK2, A Klipsch Core 200, Bose TV Speaker. They all have plenty of bass or honestly maybe even more bass rumble than I'd prefer. ... they all still sound boxy, mid-y and/or muffled.
  • I've tried Sony s100f, S2000, A3000, Klipsch Core 100, Bose TV Speaker, Smart Soundbar, Sonos Beam, Vizio 210d-0806. They all have rumbling bass and raise the volume of background sound/noises, but don't have clarity.
  • I use this as a computer soundbar and it is better than computer speakers but for a TV it sucks ass… 160 is about all it’s ever been worth but that still doesn’t make it a good product.
  • If you want it to get extremely loud or to have huge booming low end this isn’t the bar for you.
  • It’s a very basic sound bar, it uses an optical cable to connect, you will not be able to get Dolby Atmos or DTSX.

I ran out to Best Buy and grabbed the Bose TV Speaker for $200 and hooked it up last night. The difference is night and day. All sound is crystal clear and the bass is surprisingly good even without its own subwoofer. But from my casual perspective the Bose TV Speaker far exceeded my expectations.
