Angels Envy and 1792 are two of my favorites and right there in that price range.
I love the flavor profile of Barton/1792. I consider it a HUGE win that Costco uses their distillate for their Kirkland releases.
Usually the bottle that sits in the $30ish range (Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, 1792, Elijah Craig, etc) will suffice for picking up and understanding the general flavor profile from each distillery.
