Maker's Mark

Pros

• By the 2000s, only two legacy Kentucky distilleries retained their historically low entry– Wild Turkey at 107 and Maker’s Mark at 110.
• Our current nicer stuff looks like Maker’s Mark (regular and cask strength), Jim Beam Black, Sazerac, Larceny small batch, High West, Redwood Empire, 4 Roses, etc.
• this is the best makers bottle ive had, low bar but i dig it
• Maker's Mark is a beautiful property, and they do a nice tour.
• I prefer weller (anything but SR) and maker’s mark much more.

Cons

• Maker's seems like this sleeping giant, stuck in its old ways and unwilling to budge on their processes. And when they have bent just a little bit to the whims of the market, we got products that are just slight variations of their stand...
• Yeah, it has taken me time to warm up to Maker’s in general, I find a lot of their stuff to be pretty simple and mild. That said, some of these limited releases in the past couple of years have been really nice!
• I keep trying MM and while it's pretty good...it's not something I'd race out to buy. I've had CS, the 46, and the Heart series. I had some "Heart" over the last week and it's opened up nicely but can't remember the other 2 so they must...
• Have some MM, don't really like it, 46 is better
• I was blown away to see Maker’s was the one I disliked the most.
