Michter’s

Thanks for the review. I do love the rye's. and Michter's is one of my favorites.

This seemed like a good contender because of Michter’s ability to make high-flavor, low-proof whiskey.

In fact, there are other highly regarded cask strength bourbons out there that have notoriously low entry and bottle proofs - Michter’s, for one.

That's a shame when it comes to a brand like Michter's who has a lot of clout for producing some of the best rye whiskey around.

It would make sense that they would use the same low entry proof for all of their products. One of my favorite distilleries for sure.

Michter’s does such a great job packing flavor into these “lower proof” whiskeys.

I generally really like Michter’s. I gave the Bombergers PFG a 7.5, I gave the Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon a 6.5, I gave Michter’s Barrel Strength Rye 24B an 8, etc.

Michter’s is one of my favorite bourbons to drink, so I was disappointed that the tour was short and it was hard to hear the guide because the bar was so loud.

In particular, with Michter's. The low barrel entry proof produces A TON of flavor for its proof point.

I have seen some high praises for this Michter’s release and it’s good to know that it really is a great pour.
