ZZ plant

Pros

• They can live in darker rooms but they thrive in light. If you have them in well draining soil and increase watering as you increase light they fkn love it.
• I’m leaning toward a ZZ plant or a heart-leaf philodendron…something I’m much less likely to kill and will last for decades (I have experience caring for these).
• mine sat unchanged and looking like a fake plant for 2 years. then back in July, I got 5 or 6 new stalks that shot up at light speed.
• I’ve had this ZZ for almost 10 years and it still impresses me with how low maintenance but high reward it is.
• I am an inconsistent lady, I have always had success with pothos, monsteras, snake plants, and my zz plant

Cons

• I wouldn’t know- I managed to a slowly kill mine 😭😭😭😭
• I'm on month four of leaf propogation for a bunch of snake plant cuttings and ZZ leaves. They are not close to sprouting, though they've got roots.
• Zz plants are not fast propagation plants. They're also really cheap. So if you want a plant then get an actual plant.
• Don't get me wrong, the plants are nice and all, but I have a limited amount of space and I'm going to be looking at this zz plant for the next decade
