Pros

• There's a door opening to my kitchen to the right so the wall where the snake plant is is pretty much as wide as that plant shelf.
• Wish mine knew how to reproduce, it only grows tall. 5 years old and just crossed 6 feet tall. Taller than me now.
• If I remember right they smell good too.
• I had this plant for 7 years, it almost died once but i was able so safe it 5 years ago, and here we are :)
• this is just what snake plants do. They are always throwing out new rhizomes and prefer to be fairly crowded. Yours looks happy and healthy. I wouldn't change anything.

Cons

• Kinda annoying cuz I got a snake plant after googling for low light plants
• to me the smell was so overwhelming I had to remove the plant from the room, and not in a good way. Incredibly vegetal and chemically.
• Mine flowers every damn year. At first I loved it, but now I have those little flowers everywhere, and it drops sticky fluid. It smells nice tho 🫢😇
• the shame in her eyes when I told her I’ve never kept a snake plant alive was deep.
• The "indestructible" snake plant always proves to be very destructible to me.
