Pros

  • Imo just wait for titan noir to be available if you're not in a rush.
  • Imo go for projector with iris, so xgimi titan noir is better than horizon 20.
  • Xgimi titan noir or valerion visionmaster seem to be the top choices in that range.
  • I think the Titan Noir is probably a good choice.
  • The noir would be better because of its wild brightness at that size

Cons

  • even the newer xgimi titan noir is not as bright and even dimmer when it close down its iris - better contrast though.
  • The service issue is probably my biggest concern with XGIMI as well. I’m in India and may be buying the projector in the US, so I’m checking with XGIMI India specifically about whether they’ll repair a US-purchased unit here, even as a p...
  • the xgimi has image artifacts with anti rbe on.
  • I think we’re about to get a flood of these complaints from XGIMI Titan Noir backers who either cheaped out on the screen or are using the same screen they used with their old lamp projectors 😂

The service issue is probably my biggest concern with XGIMI as well. I’m in India and may be buying the projector in the US, so I’m checking with XGIMI India specifically about whether they’ll repair a US-purchased unit here, even as a paid repair.

The XGimi Titan Noir is pretty well reviewed at this point. DLP gaming has minimal additional features that it offers on most projectors as processing is kept to a minimum... the Titan Noir series has the lowest lag time of basically any projector on the market as they are using the newest iteration of DLP chips that are available.

the way XGimi implements it's dynamic iris control on their Titan Noir is exceptional and really ups the game.
