Pros
- The Borah system -- silpoly tarp ($68), cuben bivy ($192), Frost King polycryo sheet (~$3) -- is 13.4 oz and ~$263. Cheaper than any DCF tent on that list and lighter than most.
- Why I pick the durston… headroom and entry and setup (footprint) ease. ... I really like being about to sit up and move around in the 1p vs the duo. ... Durston doors are so easy I could sleepwalk out of that tent.
- IMO the Durston is clearly the better tent, and I have since sold the Duplex Lite. ... The Durston has much better build quality, features (door magnets, pockets, one-handed zippers, etc), headroom, stormworthiness, and ventilation.
- Not knocking on Durston, I have the X-Mid Pro 1 and love the
- Durston X-Mid Pro 1 slightly higher quality than the Plex Solo.

- pitching the 1p pro version is unenjoyable and takes forever to get a good pitch with. ... I did 11 days last year with the 1p and I wanted to scream a few nights pitching it.

- I finally also bought an X-Mid Pro 1. It solves the packed size issue, but I find pitching it properly to be a pain. Every time I pitch it, I keep wanting it to be as easy as the Notch

if there's decent amount of rain in the forecast then I'll use the XMid Pro 1. It has a longer, narrower footprint compared to the Plex Solo. The X-Mid has a lot of vestibule space
