Reddit take

AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote

WannaPractice is a CISSP-focused practice question bank frequently recommended for its affordability and scenario-based questions. While many users credit it as a key resource for passing the exam, sentiment is mixed regarding its difficulty level and polish. Some users appreciate the clear, situational logic, while others find the questions too simplistic or short compared to the actual exam's complexity.

Pros

  • Affordable pricing compared to other popular test banks
  • Strong focus on scenario-based and situational questions
  • Helpful and responsive customer support
  • Flexible study modes, including domain-specific quizzes and 'quick burst' sessions
  • Created by a former official ISC2 instructor

Cons

  • Frequent reports of typos, inaccuracies, and quality control issues
  • Questions are often shorter and less 'wordy' than the actual CISSP exam
  • Difficulty may be lower than competitors; some users found the logic too transparent

Caveats

  • One user reported that non-technical individuals were able to achieve passing scores on certain domains, suggesting the question logic might occasionally be too easy to guess.

Best for

  • CISSP candidates looking for a budget-friendly supplement to official study guides
  • Students who want to practice situational decision-making

Avoid if

  • You are looking for a perfectly polished, error-free question set
  • You want a test bank that strictly mimics the extreme wordiness and complexity of the real exam

This summary uses balanced time weighting with about a 6-month half-life. The evidence is older (median age ~606 days) and comes exclusively from r/cissp. Because exam prep materials and exam formats change, the age of this data suggests medium confidence.

WannaPractice: [10/10] Paid subscription for question banks. For some reason, probably feedback here, I went with this over LearnZapp. It's reasonably priced and support was great [I wrote for help and got the nicest assistance.]

WannaPractice **(9/10)** – Good for scenario-based questions

These were a good balance of technical and situational questions that gave you practice on choosing good answers. Some of the questions I found were just as wordy as the exam.

I’ve been using self study (OSG and the official practice tests, and Wannapractice to the point where I can reliably get 90% on the simulated tests, and for any given domain)

I found a very good discount to access this test bank, and liked the way you could quickly dip in and out of the questions when you had a spare minute, as well as how they were sorted into domains. ... However I personally found the questions quite simplistic, and they are all quite short, which is definitely not the case for the real exam as you might get some war-and-peace style paragraphs. ... GRADE: B, the interface is accessible and easy to use, and it offers some variety when it comes to doing questions

I found a very good discount to access this test bank, and liked the way you could quickly dip in and out of the questions when you had a spare minute, as well as how they were sorted into domains. It also offers the ability to do 'quick burst' testing as well as a longer style test. However I personally found the questions quite simplistic, and they are all quite short, which is definitely not the case for the real exam as you might get some war-and-peace style paragraphs.

6/10: WannaPractice. These questions were pretty decent, but there are a lot of inaccuracies, typos, and quality control issues.

Came here to say I used both of these test banks when studying for the exam and they each helped in a different way.
