Pros
- i paid for advertised 600 shots and they gave me 700 shots. 30s and mild laxity so i am about 6 months out and the results have been pretty good
- Ultherapy is more targeted, as in, you can fire to heat just the smas and not the fat and visualize it.
- In Korean clinics, we frequently pair lower dose masseter Botox with skin tightening treatments (like Ultherapy, Thermage, or targeted RF) to ensure the skin contracts alongside the muscle.
- Some treatments are a single event. Ultherapy, Thermage, HIFU, botox, filler. You get it once, the result shows up and settles over the next few weeks, and there's nothing else you need to do.
- Ultherapy has relatively high baseline energy, making it effective for enhancing skin elasticity and improving sagging skin. It is particularly used for improving facial contours and neck wrinkles and offers the advantage of a quick lift...
Cons
- Heat, which is the lifting devices, Ultherapy, Xerf, Thermage, Onda.
- it’s very easy with Ultherapy to turn the machine either too low to be effective or so high it melts fat. But you can’t tell for the first few months because there is an immediate tightening effect from essentially all your tissue seizin...
- DO NOT DO ULTHERAPY ON THE MID CHEEK. It makes it look good for about 3 months and then it saga worse than before
- Safe: in qualified hands, yes. Necessary? No. Absolute overkill and I think a bad idea (no ability to give feedback, follow directions, etc)
- Also I'm kinda second guessing myself as some of the reviews show very subtle only changes from 600 shots.

it’s very easy with Ultherapy to turn the machine either too low to be effective or so high it melts fat. But you can’t tell for the first few months because there is an immediate tightening effect from essentially all your tissue seizing in reaction to the machine. Just look up Ultherapy reviews. Many many many people have this experience.

the doctor recommended a hydrated skin booster paired with a light Ultherapy session. Numbing cream did its job, so the pain was barely a 3/10. Downtime was virtually zero, I just had mild redness for a day and went straight out for dinner that evening.
