1 U6 Mesh in Garage to serve "far" nest cam... Most of the house now runs at nearly 500Mb over wifi

I have 6 or more of these Installed, but not for mesh…just for form factor.

Or use a U6 Mesh, which is designed to be stood up (ignore the "mesh" in the name - all the APs have equivalent meshing options).

If you can stretch your Budget go for a U6Mesh for downstairs.You can place the U6Mesh higher up so to get a better Signal.

FWIW I have been very impressed by the U6 Mesh. And the small cylindrical form factor is good for sitting on a desk or shelf. My first one did most of the work, outperforming my AC Lites by a wide margin.

If you aren't going to ceiling mount your AP and you want it to be standing on a shelf or something, the U6 Mesh might be a good choice for you. It has a PoE injector included in the box... and has basically the same hardware as the U6 Pro in a different shape.

I've had it setup with a U6 Mesh and now a U7 Outdoor at the Internet source.

It would be much cheaper for sure cause the U6 Mesh wouldn't need the stand and it comes with the POE Injector. If you don't need 6Ghz and you're for sure putting it on a table for the foreseeable future, get the U6 Mesh.
