Turkmenistan Airlines

Pros

• That is the exact same experience I had booking Turkmenistan Airlines. The email confirmation seemed very sparse on details. But everything was fine when I showed up to the airport and gave them my passport.
• Yeh all good, not a scam, just wonderfully cheap flights. Took that flight myself back in October and it was great.

Cons

• Nothing suggests you got scammed but yes it's not very conventional choice of an airline or a country to transit in. They usually don't have too frequent flights so if you miss your connection for whatever reason, it may have pretty unpl...
• Turkmenistan Airlines is an adventure. If you're up for that, go for it!
• You are right, avoid taking a flight through an unstable region by going through another one which is managed via a deadly, unstable dictator on a small airline which has safety issue.
• The price was good but sadly their support isn’t as you can imagine.
• I’d also recommend you bring your own media entertainment because the film selection is pretty limited regardless of what language you speak. Also food was budget. Other than that a fine choice of airline!
