TSP (Trisodium Phosphate)

TSP is what you want to use, it removes everything.

But first I would suggest scrubbing with a mixture of TSP and Simple Green.

TSP, the real stuff, is good for cleaning smoke.

For smoke TSP definitely works, a box is really cheap. Mix it in a heavy duty spray bottle, and wear eye protection.

If the walls are kind of yellow a good wash with tsp before using a primer will get rid of a lot of the smoke.

Scrap the TSP-PF and go with the good old fashioned TSP.

I have used TSP before and mopped the walls using a spinmop and 2 water rinses to wring it out before getting more clean fluid from a clean bucket, it worked awesome!

Clean everything with TSP at least once.

Tsp is good, I would use something with a wringer because you’ll be rinsing the mop head often, then prime with Kilz original or Zinsser BIN on all subfloors, ceilings and walls.
