Timemore C2

Pros

• You’ll need an entry level hand grinder (Timemore C2 or C3, or KinGrinder P2 are cheap and highly capable)
• Blade grinders are worthless. Buy a cheap hand grinder like a Timemore C2 or a Kingrinder P2.
• In name brands, you're limited to the same options NoNoHan mentioned when you asked two days ago: a Kingrinder P2 or maybe a Timemore C2 or C3 on sale.
• But you can also get great results from something cheaper like the Timemore C2 or C3
• It's an obvious knock-off of the Timemore C2 (except for the straight crank), which goes for double the price.

Cons

• Not great at bringing out the details from lighter roasted coffee. I think the consensus is that it was a good beginners’ grinder till a few years back but kingrinder products are better
• Timemore C2 user for 1.5 years - upgrade to K6 or K7? My biggest complaint with the C2 is that doesn't do well with lighter roasts.
• I am very tired of manual grinding my espresso doses with my Timemore C2
• Also the Timemore C2 is the rough part here. good grinder for lots of brewing, but espresso asks for tiny adjustments and the C2 steps can feel like “too fast” then suddenly “choked.”
• Question about the Timemore C2: on the instruction manual under the section for setting the grind, it says to first turn the dial clockwise until it stops to set it at the “start” position. All good there . But THEN it says to turn it cl...
