Pros

• Superchargers are 90+% efficient because there is no AC to DC conversion.
• On weekends and holidays the EA chargers tend to get backed up with long waits. But we’ve never had to wait for a SC.
• Tesla's cheaper stall pedestals and speedy turnaround on maintenance issues helps to improve uptime and profitability.
• Tesla drivers have been very polite to me in real life. I just find blocking two spots to be very awkward when there is a line and prefer to have an alternative that doesn't involve having repeated polite conversations with every underst...
• With a Tesla supercharger, there is a 99% chance it will work perfectly as expected. And it looks like that reliable charging experience is true even if you plug in a non-Tesla vehicle at a supercharger.

Cons

• As a non-Tesla owner trying to use Superchargers, an extra long cable would be *great*
• Much better than Gloucester services the other day when people were queue jumping and refusing to use the (slower) Tesla Superchargers over the other units but also blocking the road for anyone who didn't mind a slightly longer charge.
• at a middle of the day tesla supercharger in california .46 = $42.55
• Most DC fast charging is already 800 volts, if it weren't for Tesla's exclusively 400 volt superchargers.
• If you rely on fast charging, you’re almost guaranteed to spend less with a hybrid. 38 cents per kWh at Tesla Superchargers, 56 cents at Electrify America around here.
