As much as I love the T5/x and I had sold off my SVS SB-1000 Pro because I thought the REL was better, it is not the best choice given your stated requirements.
I just started building my home theater last year and thought SB-1000 would be enough, but I’m feeling the bass a little lacking now.
Next, I started testing things out and I would say the subwoofer is no longer "punchy"; in fact, it might even be flat. This seems to be because the volume I set on the sub for calibration was -16 dB (to maintain good SNR).
Dual SB-1000's aint cutting it.
Also consider PB vs SB but even the SB should be a big upgrade over your current setup.
